Bout of Books was a pretty good start back into reading. It was better than BoB30, and I didn't even do BoB31. Things were happening at the time and we ened up putting our down down the week it ended, so yeah, didn't even think about BoB at the time.
It was good to get back into reading and I enjoyed the majority of the books too. I'm glad I set aside time to read, and now it's back to writing. Hopefully by BoB33, I'll have a new book, or two, out. :)

On Day 2, I ended up reading an hour less than Day 1 but got more pages read, I suppose because all the books were easy reads, and two of the three were really enjoyable.
My reading was rudely interuppted by the town's siren's going off for a Tornado Warning. I'm along Fred's path and apparently he brought wide spread tornados and flooding. Problem is, I'm terrified of tornados. They are my only fear, stemming from my childhood. The deadilest outbreak of the 1980s occured on my 8th birthday, right where I lived at the time (I lived along the Big Beaver cell, a F4/F3). Our neighbors had two of three houses destroyed while my childhood home was shifted in the wind, causing a crack all along its foundation.
I wasn't there at the time, only saw the destruction afterward and I think that's part of my ongoing fear. Perhaps had I been there, experienced the effects first hand, then I might not be the quivering mess I am now because of it.
All is fine, BTW. If there was touchdown, it was about 20 miles from here. Not too far, but it was to my west, a bit. Doesn't mean I still didn't cower in the closet for an hour, because I totally did. After it was done, I finally got back to books, and thankfully, they were good ones too.

I'm joining in! I have ZERO clue what I'll read, as always. Ever the fly-by-er, I can't make a plan! Hopefully it'll be better than January's BoB when I had a bit of a dud, for me, reading only 7 books. Yikes! Ever since I started writing, my reading has tanked. I'm reading a lot of words - just my own, over and over. I SHOULD be continuing my work on Book 3, but I need a nice reading break!

Wasn't quite the Bout of Books quota I hoped for. I finished 7, but one was a cheat one, since I started it prior to BoB and just finished up the last of it. For the final day, I read a little of that, and a little of another one. I started 4 other books but couldn't get into 3 of them. They will be DNF while I'll finish the 4th, The Midnight Library.
It was a good BoB, just wish I had had time to finish more.
